Nappy Naturals Cream from Sudocrem

It’s been a long time since I wrote about products that I loved on here, but Sudocrem sent me a sample of their new Nappy Naturals Cream and I am totally sold on it!

I don’t remember a time in my life when there hasn’t been one of those iconic grey tubs of Sudocrem in the bathroom cabinet. I suffered with eczema as a child, and Sudocrem is one of the few things that offered me quick and easy relief. Even though I no longer suffer with eczma, I still find myself reaching for the Sudocrem whenever I have sore or dry skin that needs soothing, and now I have children, I don’t ever leave the house without either a tube or a tub in my bag!

When my twins were babies, the cream was always close on hand, and even now we use it regularly to soothe sore bums and dry skin. My twins sometimes suffer with little irritations on their faces, especially during colder weather, and usually a little bit of Sudocrem soothes the problem and helps the irritation go down!

The New Nappy Naturals Cream from Sudocrem

The new version of the cream is natural, gentle, and perfect for baby skin as well as grown up skin. Knowing that the ingredients of the new cream are designed to be super gentle on exceptionally young skin is wonderful, especially given how many times a new baby can need changing every day.

“Sudocrem Naturals Nappy Cream formulation is 96% naturally derived. It is enriched with 15 hardworking, natural ingredients including apricot kernel which is known for its skin conditioning properties. Chamomile extracts and natural zinc oxide relieve and protect irritated skin and reduce redness. Mango butter and colloidal oat both contain antioxidant and skin soothing properties, combined with the protective and softening credentials of the mango butter. And yes, it smells amazing (because there must be some positives to changing a nappy!)”

In addition to the impressively natural ingredients list, I can confirm that this cream smells wonderful. I’m sorely temped to buy a tube to use just for my hands as a small blob on my hands earlier today has left them feeling soft and smelling lovely. Sometimes I use regular Sudocrem on my lips before bed which leaves them feeling soft and lovely when I wake up – I’m going to have a go with the new cream, but suspect I will have the same great results!

If you fancy buying yourself a tube of the new Sudocrem Natural Nappy Cream then you should be able to find it in store at your local Boots shop. It’s currently sold in a 30g tube which is £5.99 – personally I think the 30g size is the best to keep in nappy bags, handbags, bed side cabinets, and car glove boxes – it’s a nifty size that fits anywhere!

It’s a well known fact that Sudocrem is wonderfully versatile, and there are quite literally hundreds of ways to use it. I definitely have my favourite ways to use it but would love to know what else other people like to do with it! Please do let me know if you have any other ways of putting it to use!
